Working together

I offer one-to-one psychotherapy to adults – either short-term or open-ended contracts –  depending on your needs. As a general rule, the longer you have been experiencing a problem the longer it takes to resolve. That said, sometimes just a few sessions can be enough to make a significant difference.

If you are interested in working with me, I suggest we have an initial session to explore the challenges you face and your hopes for the future. This will give us both an opportunity to see if there is a connection between us and the potential to do good work.

If we decide to work together, I will ask you to attend on a weekly basis, at the same time each week.

I have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If, within the 48 hour period, you find you are unable to attend a session for any reason, I will try to offer you another time that week. If I am not able to offer you an alternative time, the session will need to be paid for in full.

When it comes to ending our work, I recommend we set aside at least four weeks to bring things to a close and say our goodbyes; longer if we have working together for more than six months. That said, you are of course free to end your therapy at any time.
